Launch Info: Orbiter - Atlantis 104-14 Pad 39A KSC (MLP-3) - First attempt on
23 June scrubbed prior to ET loading due ot lightning in the area. Second attempt on
24 June was scrubbed at 4 pm due to weather conditions (rain and lightning.) Landed on
KSC/SLF runway 15. 23rd KSC landing. RW switched to 15 for lighting conditions.
Note: Mir 18 crew launched 14 March 1995, at 0611:34 GMT (1:11:34 am EST,
9:11:34 am MT (Moscow Time)) on Soyuz-TM 21. Mir 18 duration was 115:09:43:00,
giving Thagard the longest space mission to date for an American.
